As they continue to grow, the client is seeking a dedicated Human Resources Assistant to join the team and support the HR department in various administrative tasks and initiatives.
Job Description:
Position Overview: The Human Resources Assistant will play a crucial role in supporting the day-to-day operations of the HR department. This position requires a detail-oriented individual with exceptional organizational skills, strong communication abilities, and a proactive approach to tasks. The successful candidate will assist in various HR functions, including recruitment, onboarding, employee relations, and administrative tasks.
Responsibilities:
1.) Assist in recruitment efforts by posting job openings, reviewing resumes, scheduling interviews, and conducting initial screenings of candidates.
2.) Coordinate the onboarding process for new hires, including preparing new hire paperwork, conducting orientations, and facilitating training sessions as needed.
3.) Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records in the HRIS (Human Resources Information System) database.
4.) Assist in administering employee benefits programs, including health insurance, retirement plans, and other employee perks.
5.) Support employee relations initiatives by addressing employee inquiries, concerns, and requests in a timely and professional manner.
6.) Assist with the coordination of employee events, meetings, and training programs.
7.) Prepare HR-related reports and presentations as requested by management.
8.) Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations.
9.) Provide general administrative support to the HR department, including filing, data entry, and document preparation.
10.) Perform other duties and special projects as assigned by the HR Manager or Director.
