Position:             Thick Film Operator (Temporary-to-Hire)
Location:            San Jose, CA

Multinational semiconductor manufacturer based in San Jose, CA.  The company's business lines focus on Energy efficiency, mobility and security with semiconductors that help vehicles, factories, and electronics run more efficiently.  On the road, they improve vehicle safety, security, and efficiency.  The company has global research and manufacturing operations and is traded on the New York Stock Exchange.


Responsibilities

The Thick Film Operator is a critical member of the manufacturing team for the company's high reliability business line. This is an excellent springboard into a career in hi-tech electronics manufacturing. Specific responsibilities include:

  • Silk screen making, thick film printing, inventory materials, continuity test and open/short test
  • Measurement resistors and analyze, set-up AMI printer
  • Take profile of furnaces and dryers monthly
  • Take thickness on laser profilometer, re-flow solder, greaser
  • TCR test of incoming inks
  • Support team on good quality and quantity reduce cycle time
Background
  • Ability to start on an immediate temporary-to-hire basis is required
  • Must be reliable, dependable, motivated to work and able to clear background and drug screen
  • Ability to work in a clean room environment is required
  • Prior experience is in silk screen making and or thick film printing is highly preferred

This role offers a competitive hourly rate with paid overtime and company sponsored benefits for temporary staff.
