POSITION SUMMARY


Working with the Conferences Manager, Segment Leadership Team and Segment staff, the Event Coordinator, is responsible for developing IGTI communications and marketing material. Position will also work on conference and exhibition daily activities, coordinate services relating to volunteer committees and the technical committee leadership as well as student scholarships and IGTI award processes.

 KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES

Strong computer skills - Microsoft Office software products, desktop publishing a plus
Strong copywriting, editing and proofing skills
Project management skills
Experience in event marketing
Superior interpersonal communication skills both written and verbal
Understanding of the importance of deadlines and completing projects within the scope of those deadlines
College degree desirable or additional equivalent experience.
