Position Overview: We are currently seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Part-Time Human Resources Assistant. This role is ideal for someone who is comfortable working part-time hours and is passionate about providing essential support in various HR functions. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining HR records, assisting with recruitment processes, and contributing to a positive and efficient work environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Assist in maintaining accurate employee records and databases.
  2. Support the recruitment process by coordinating interviews, conducting initial candidate screenings, and facilitating onboarding procedures.
  3. Handle routine HR administrative tasks, including filing, document preparation, and data entry.
  4. Respond to employee inquiries and provide basic information on HR policies and procedures.
  5. Help organize and execute employee engagement initiatives and events.
  6. Collaborate with HR team members to ensure smooth and efficient departmental operations.
  7. Maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.


  1. Previous experience or coursework in Human Resources is desirable.
  2. Strong organizational and multitasking skills to handle various HR responsibilities.
  3. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  4. Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
  5. Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite.
  6. Comfortable working in a part-time capacity.

Education and Experience:

  • High school diploma or equivalent is required.
  • Additional education or coursework in Human Resources is a plus.
  • Previous experience in an administrative role is beneficial.

Working Hours: This is a part-time position with 5-30 hours per week, providing flexibility for individuals seeking work-life balance.
