Job Description

The Legal Intake Coordinator plays a pivotal role in the legal support team, serving as the initial point of contact for potential clients seeking legal assistance. This role involves conducting intake interviews, gathering essential information, and coordinating the initial steps in the legal process. The ideal candidate should possess excellent communication skills, empathy, and a strong understanding of legal procedures.


  1. Client Intake:

    • Conduct initial consultations with potential clients to gather information about their legal issues.
    • Evaluate the viability of potential cases and determine eligibility for legal services.
    • Clearly explain the legal process, potential outcomes, and associated timelines to clients.
  2. Documentation and Information Gathering:

    • Collect and document relevant client information, including contact details, legal issues, and background information.
    • Ensure all necessary documentation is completed accurately and efficiently.
  3. Case Management:

    • Assist in the organization and management of client case files.
    • Coordinate with legal professionals to ensure smooth transition of cases into the legal system.
  4. Communication:

    • Serve as a liaison between clients and legal professionals, providing updates and relaying information.
    • Maintain regular communication with clients to address inquiries and provide status updates on their cases.
