Job Title: Operations Assistant

Location: Central San Diego

Employment Type: Full-Time, Monday - Friday 8am-5pm

Pay Rate: $25 - $27/hr

Job Summary:

We are seeking a detail-oriented Operations Assistant with construction industry, or related field, experience. You will support daily operations, project coordination, and administrative functions. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and understands the workflows and demands of construction projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist with scheduling, project tracking, and coordination of construction activities
  • Maintain project documentation, contracts, permits, and compliance records
  • Support communication between project managers, subcontractors, and vendors
  • Track materials, orders, and inventory to ensure timely project delivery
  • Prepare reports, update spreadsheets, and assist with budgeting tasks
  • Ensure adherence to safety standards and company procedures
  • Help manage the front desk when needed

Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • 3 years of experience in the construction industry or related field
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)
  • Service Titan experience a huge plus!
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities
  • Familiarity with construction terminology, processes, and project timelines

Preferred:

  • Experience with project management or construction software (e.g., Service Titan)
  • Basic understanding of permits, bids, and contracts
