Job Description

A dynamic and patient-focused medical practice seeking a skilled and compassionate individual to join our team as a Medical Office Assistant. If you are detail-oriented, possess excellent organizational skills, and have a passion for contributing to a positive patient experience, we invite you to apply.


Greet patients, schedule appointments, and assist with inquiries. Provide excellent customer service to enhance the patient experience.

Manage and coordinate patient appointments, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in scheduling.

Maintain and update patient records, ensuring confidentiality and compliance with privacy regulations.

Verify patient insurance information and assist with the processing of insurance claims.

Collaborate with the billing department to ensure accurate and timely invoicing. Address patient billing inquiries as needed.

Assist in transcribing medical notes and ensuring accurate documentation of patient information.

Manage the front desk, including answering phones, directing calls, and managing patient check-ins and check-outs.

Work closely with medical staff, nurses, and other office personnel to support the smooth operation of the medical office.


High school diploma or equivalent. Additional training in medical office administration is preferred.

Previous experience in a medical office or healthcare setting is an asset but not mandatory.

Familiarity with medical terminology and basic understanding of healthcare processes.

Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite. Experience with electronic health record (EHR) systems is a plus.

Strong verbal and written communication skills. Ability to communicate effectively with patients and healthcare professionals.

Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities with a strong attention to detail.
