Job Description

* Handle a substantial volume of incoming calls, emails, and web chat interactions from construction companies (B2B).

* Anticipate and identify the potential needs of each customer, providing solutions in a courteous and empathetic manner.

* Aim for first-call resolution on inquiries, quotes, and orders, including on-the-fly order processing, information organization, and call conclusion.

* Clearly convey the features and benefits of relevant products and services, adapting communication to regional and industry terminology for effectiveness.

* Collaborate with other departments and colleagues to ensure a consistent and positive customer experience, leveraging insights gained during interactions.

* Creatively navigate resources to acquire the knowledge necessary for effective problem-solving and growth.

* Negotiate prices to secure business while balancing WSC's long-term relationship and customer satisfaction.

* Learn and adhere to internal procedures to maintain consistent and efficient customer service.

* Provide support to other departments during slow periods, including Marketing, Production, and Human Resources.

* Conduct quality assurance checks to uphold service excellence.


* Maintain a positive attitude in all interactions.

* Demonstrate empathy, patience, and care in dealings with both customers and colleagues.

* Possess effective verbal and written communication skills, adapting to regional and industry terms.

* Exhibit strong organizational skills with minimal oversight.

* Demonstrate proficiency in time management and task prioritization.

* Exercise independent decision-making skills, initiative, and accountability.

* Willingly accept coaching, criticism, and input from others.

Additional Info:

Pay: $22-$26/hr

Schedule: M-F, 7 AM-5 PM May-October (busy season OT required 45 hours/wk), 8 AM-5 PM M-F November-April

Location: In office 100%
