Position Overview
Ultimate Staffing Services is actively seeking a Litigation Paralegal for a dynamic insurance defense practice located in Texas. This role is perfect for a highly organized individual with substantial experience in litigation, specifically on the defense side. The successful candidate will support attorneys and legal staff across all phases of defense litigation, working closely with an attorney and legal secretary to ensure smooth case progression, accurate documentation, and effective preparation for hearings, mediations, depositions, and trials.
Responsibilities
- Manage all aspects of litigation case files from inception through resolution.
- Draft and respond to discovery.
- Summarize medical records and discovery responses.
- Coordinate with litigation experts across all case stages.
- Assist attorneys with preparation for mediations, hearings, depositions, and trial.
- Maintain organized and detailed case documentation.
- Collaborate closely with attorney and secretary to ensure deadlines are met.
Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years of litigation experience, strongly preferred on the defense side.
- Strong understanding of litigation procedures and defense practices.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- High level of organization and attention to detail.
- Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Professional, proactive, and team-oriented.
- Education requirement is a High School Diploma.

Monday - Friday, 1st Shift

Additional Details
- Compensation: $70,000 - $80,000 per year, depending on experience.
- Bonus Eligibility: Mid-year and year-end bonuses.
- Defense litigation background highly preferred.
