Senior Project Manager - Construction & Engineering

A leading organization in the construction and engineering space is seeking a Senior Project Manager to oversee complex infrastructure and facility development projects. This role is ideal for a strategic leader who excels at coordinating cross-functional teams, managing budgets, and driving operational excellence from planning through project closeout.

Role Overview

  • Spearhead the execution of construction initiatives including new builds, upgrades, and site modifications.
  • Develop and manage project plans, timelines, and resource allocations to ensure smooth delivery.
  • Lead internal and external stakeholder communications, ensuring alignment on goals and expectations.
  • Monitor project performance, resolve issues proactively, and maintain financial oversight throughout the lifecycle.
  • Conduct site visits, oversee quality control, and ensure compliance with safety and regulatory standards.
  • Mentor junior staff and contribute to continuous improvement efforts across project delivery processes.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as Construction Management, Mechanical Engineering, or similar preferred
  • At least 7 years of experience managing large-scale construction or engineering projects.
  • Strong leadership and negotiation skills with a track record of delivering results.
  • Ability to navigate complex challenges and drive decisions that support business objectives.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
