Insurance Account Manager- Reading $70-$80K Direct Hire.
Pay: $70,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
Hours: M-F 830-5pm
Job Description: Account Manager would be responsible for the management and retention of assigned client accounts in our small business unit. Activities include, but are not limited to new and renewal marketing, handling client inquiries and requests, coverage review and claim reporting as well as assisting account executives.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Initiates renewal process for existing clients and discusses and creates renewal strategy with Account Executives.
Supports Account Executives in marketing new business opportunities for existing clients and prospects.
Conducts marketing, negotiates rates, reviews quotes and coverages for competitiveness and accuracy.
Reviews policies for accuracy.
Binds insurance coverage and prepares binders and/or delegate certificates issuance.
Prepares summaries and/or schedules of coverage for clients.
Responds to accounting inquiries, corrects discrepancies.
Participates in the claims process, including claim submission, follow-up, and overall communication.
Create and maintain relationships with our insurance company partners.
Deliver superior customer service while adhering to guidelines and workflows.
Other duties as assigned.
Required Competencies:
Current MA Individual Insurance license or willingness to obtain.
Minimum 3 years experience at an insurance agency
Strong computer skills (experience using AMS360 preferred)
Superior organizational and communication skills, flexibility, detail oriented, and an ability to work independently.
Strong documentation skills
Ability to work well in a team atmosphere.
Self-motivating and positive attitude
Strong time management skills, with the ability to prioritize.
