Job Title: Heavy Civil Project Manager
Location: Irvine, CA
Salary Range: Starting at $150,000+ (commensurate with experience)

Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Heavy Civil Project Manager to lead a major infrastructure project. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record managing bridge projects valued at $50 million or more and possess strong leadership and communication skills.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage large-scale bridge and heavy civil construction projects.
  • Oversee work related to bridges, retaining walls, grading and excavation, concrete paving, and drainage.
  • Collaborate with Caltrans and other local agencies to ensure compliance and smooth project execution.
  • Mentor and guide a team of engineers through project planning, scheduling, and execution.
  • Coordinate with subcontractors and internal crews to meet project milestones.
  • Manage project documentation, including correspondence with agencies via letters, emails, and formal meetings.

Qualifications:

  • Extensive experience managing heavy civil projects, particularly bridges over $50M.
  • Strong familiarity with Caltrans standards and procedures.
  • Proven ability to lead engineering teams and manage complex schedules.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.
  • Experience with agency coordination and formal project documentation.
