Job Description

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Receptionist with Purchasing Experience to join our team in Pasadena. As the first point of contact for our company, the ideal candidate will not only be responsible for providing exceptional customer service but will also bring valuable purchasing skills to contribute to our efficient procurement processes.


  1. Front Desk Operations:

    • Greet and assist visitors in a professional and friendly manner.
    • Answer and direct incoming calls promptly.
    • Manage incoming and outgoing mail and packages.
  2. Purchasing:

    • Collaborate with various departments to understand purchasing needs.
    • Source and compare prices, negotiate with suppliers, and place orders.
    • Maintain accurate records of purchases and monitor inventory levels.
    • Work with vendors to ensure timely delivery of goods and services.
    • Assist in identifying cost-saving opportunities without compromising quality.
  3. Administrative Support:

    • Provide general administrative support to different departments as needed.
    • Coordinate meetings and manage office supplies.


  • Proven experience as a Receptionist with a background in purchasing.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Proficient in MS Office suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
  • Familiarity with procurement processes and vendor management.
  • Detail-oriented and capable of working independently.

Education and Experience:

  • High school diploma required; additional qualifications in Business Administration or related field are a plus.
  • 2+ years of experience in reception and purchasing roles.
