Job Title: Maintenance Planner
Salary: Up to $70k + performance bonus

Summary:
In this role, you'll be responsible for planning and scheduling maintenance activities, managing inventory, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth operations. You'll use enterprise systems to coordinate tasks, analyze performance data, and support sustainability goals through efficient resource use.
What You'll Do
- Build and maintain short- and long-term maintenance schedules using Maximo and SAP MES
- Prioritize and adjust work plans based on urgent needs, staffing, and equipment availability
- Prepare detailed work orders including labor, tools, and materials required
- Facilitate coordination meetings with engineering, maintenance, and operations teams
- Oversee spare parts inventory and coordinate with suppliers for timely procurement
- Ensure all activities meet safety standards and regulatory compliance
- Use business intelligence tools to evaluate maintenance metrics and identify areas for improvement
- Communicate planned maintenance impacts to production teams and submit necessary factory requests
- Contribute to environmental initiatives by implementing energy-efficient maintenance practices
Your Background
- Hands-on experience in maintenance coordination or planning within industrial or manufacturing settings
- Familiarity with CMMS/EAM platforms (Maximo preferred) and ERP systems (SAP MES a plus)
- Solid grasp of maintenance methodologies including preventive and predictive strategies
- Comfortable interpreting technical manuals and equipment documentation
- Skilled in inventory control and vendor communication
- Strong organizational and interpersonal skills with a proactive problem-solving mindset
- Ability to work effectively with diverse teams and influence outcomes
Qualifications
- Degree or certification in Engineering, Facilities Management, Maintenance, or related field
- Trade experience in mechanical, electrical, or instrumentation disciplines is a bonus
- Training in maintenance planning and scheduling techniques is advantageous
