Are you passionate about agriculture and finance? We're looking for a Credit Analyst who understands the unique dynamics of farming operations and rural enterprises. In this role, you'll assess credit risk, support lending decisions, and help drive sustainable growth in the agricultural sector.
? Analyze financial statements, production data, and cash flows of farm and agribusiness clients
? Evaluate creditworthiness, collateral, and market conditions
? Recommend loan structures and risk mitigation strategies
? Monitor loan performance and identify early warning signs
? Stay informed on commodity markets, weather impacts, and ag industry trends
? Collaborate with loan officers and engage directly with farming clients
? Prepare credit memos and present findings to loan committees
?? Bachelor's degree in Finance, Agribusiness, Economics, or related field (Master's a plus)
?? 2+ years of credit analysis experience, preferably in agriculture or rural lending
?? Strong understanding of farm operations and seasonal cash flows
?? Proficiency in financial modeling and credit scoring tools
?? Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
?? Ability to manage multiple priorities independently
?? Familiarity with USDA lending programs and crop insurance
??? Experience with farm management or ERP systems
?? Knowledge of sustainability and environmental factors in agriculture
