Accounts Receivable Specialist

Job Summary:
Ultimate Staffing is seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Accounts Receivable Clerk to join the finance team of one of our premeir clients. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing incoming payments, maintaining accurate records, and ensuring timely collection of outstanding invoices. This role requires strong organizational skills, excellent communication, and proficiency in accounting software.

Key Responsibilities:

• Process and post customer payments accurately
• Monitor aging reports and follow up on overdue accounts
• Reconcile accounts and resolve discrepancies
• Generate and send invoices to clients
• Maintain customer records and update account information
• Assist with month-end closing and reporting
• Collaborate with internal departments to resolve billing issues

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent; associate degree in accounting preferred
• 1+ years of experience in accounts receivable or general accounting
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks)
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Excellent verbal and written communication
