Position Overview

Ultimate Staffing Services is actively seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join a reputable medical company located in New Haven, CT. This is an exciting opportunity for a dedicated healthcare professional to become part of a dynamic and focused team environment. This LPN will be assisting in surgeries in the Orthopedic department and is a hands on position.

Responsibilities

• Obtain patient histories and relevant medical information.
• Administer medications under the direction of professional medical staff members.
• Assist with medical and minor ortho surgical procedures.
• Set up examination rooms and maintain medical supplies and equipment.
• Promptly respond to medical emergencies and record patient information.
• Prepare patients for continuing care after treatment.
• Schedule and coordinate patients and test appointments.
• Perform additional related duties as required.

Requirements

• Current LPN licensure.
• Ortho experience highly recommended but not necessarily required.
• Epic experience.
• Minimum of 2 to 4 years of related experience.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced department and multitask efficiently.
• Strong organizational skills.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Required Work Hours

The position requires availability Monday through Friday, with hours of 9AM-530PM $33-34 per hour depending on experience.
