Job Summary:
The Masker Hanger is responsible for preparing, masking, and hanging parts for painting, coating, or finishing processes. This role ensures all parts are properly protected, identified, and arranged to meet quality, safety, and production standards.
Key Responsibilities:
Mask parts according to work instructions, blueprints, or customer specifications using tape, plugs, caps, or other masking materials.
Hang, rack, or fixture parts securely for painting, powder coating, or other finishing processes.
Inspect parts for defects, damage, or contamination before and after masking/hanging.
Maintain proper spacing and orientation of parts to ensure even coverage during finishing.
Remove masking materials after coating/painting as required.
Follow all safety guidelines, including use of PPE and safe handling of chemicals or coatings.
Keep work area clean and organized to support efficiency and safety.
