Assistant Service Technician
Pay: $20 - $25/hour
This is a hands-on role designed for someone eager to learn, grow, and build technical skills in service and maintenance. You'll support technicians in start-ups, warranty work, inspections, and repairs, while gaining valuable industry experience.
Assist in inspection, cleaning, maintenance, and repair of cooling towers and related equipment
Perform general labor tasks including debris removal, pressure washing, and part replacement
Safely use hand and power tools under supervision
Follow all safety protocols and wear appropriate PPE
Support with assembly/disassembly, transporting materials, and documenting work
Maintain tools, equipment, and work vehicles in good order
High school diploma or equivalent preferred
Ability to lift 50+ lbs, climb ladders, and work safely at heights
Comfortable working outdoors in various weather conditions
Basic familiarity with tools; willingness to learn is essential
Strong work ethic, reliability, and teamwork mindset
Willingness to travel to different job sites as needed
Clean driving record and ability to pass a drug test (safety-sensitive position)
Prior work in construction, HVAC, plumbing, or industrial maintenance
Relevant certifications (HVAC, EPA, plumbing, electrical, boilers)
Associate degree or technical training in related fields
