Administrative Assistant - Legal Department Support

Job Description

We're looking for a detail-oriented Administrative Assistant to support our client legal department team. This role is ideal for someone with 2-3 years of administrative experience who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys staying organized. If you have prior legal documentation or law office experience, that's a huge plus!

What You'll Do:

  • Review accounts and supporting documentation to confirm assignment criteria.
  • Prepare and organize case files and supporting documents for attorneys and clients.
  • Assign and track accounts to legal counsel, monitoring cases from start to finish.
  • Respond to attorney and client requests by phone, email, and fax.
  • Maintain accurate records of all correspondence and account activity.
  • Provide general administrative support and assist with department projects.

What We're Looking For:

  • 2-3 years of administrative/clerical experience required.
  • Prior experience in legal support or working in a law office strongly preferred.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
  • Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to multitask.
  • Clear written and verbal communication skills.
  • Comfortable learning and working in electronic filing systems.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; paralegal certification is a plus.

Job Details:

  • Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8:30 AM - 5:00 PM
  • Pay: $18-$20/hour, DOE
  • Location: Onsite position
  • Requirements: Must pass background check and drug test
