Auditor - Freight & Logistics Operations

Are you detail-oriented and passionate about logistics and data accuracy? Join a well-established transportation services firm with over a century of industry expertise. We're seeking a Freight Auditor to help ensure the accuracy and integrity of freight billing and payment processes across multiple transportation modes.

What You'll Do

• Audit freight invoices (LTL, FTL, parcel, etc.) against contracts and client-specific rules.
• Identify and resolve billing discrepancies such as incorrect rates, duplicate charges, or missing documentation.
• Ensure timely and accurate data entry into internal systems.
• Communicate with carriers and clients to resolve issues and gather missing information.
• Collaborate with internal teams to escalate complex issues and support onboarding of new clients/carriers.
• Contribute to process improvements and maintain documentation for standard operating procedures.

What You Bring

• Experience in freight auditing, transportation, or payables is a plus-but not required.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data review.
• Ability to interpret rate tables and carrier documentation.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Outlook, and Word.
• Clear communication skills and a collaborative mindset.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Compensation

• Estimated Salary Range: $60,000 - $70,000 annually
• (Based on market data for similar roles in the Minneapolis-St. Paul area)
