Location: Racine, WI

Pay: $17/hour - temp to perm

Schedule: M-F, 8:30am to 5:00pm

100% ON SITE

The primary mission of this role is to provide limited income families with the services and assistance necessary to prevent and or alleviate energy-related emergencies from occurring, while promoting initiatives that result in a family's long-term self-sufficiency.

Must have a passion and outgoing personality for working with limited and low-income households, excellent customer service, math and computer skills.

This very rewarding position is a combination of:

• processing applications either in person with the customer or over the phone to establish the eligibility for energy assistance
• collaborating with other agencies and stakeholders within the community
• attending community events to serve the low-income population of the counties listed above,
• The role would require greeting clients in person and via phone in both a front desk capacity and in a face-to-face setting.
• Experience working in a non-profit setting with limited income families, elderly, and veterans a plus.
