Pay: $17.00 per hour

Job description:

The primary mission of Energy Services is to provide limited income families with the services and assistance necessary to prevent and or alleviate energy-related emergencies from occurring, while promoting initiatives that result in a family's long-term self-sufficiency.

Energy Services is seeking qualified applicants for a Front Desk / Intake Eligibility Specialist position for our offices located in Racine, WI.

This position is full time located in office and will serve all communities within Wisconsin.

Must have a passion and outgoing personality for working with limited and low-income households, excellent customer service, math and computer skills.

This very rewarding position is a combination of:

  • processing applications either in person with the customer or over the phone to establish the eligibility for energy assistance
  • collaborating with other agencies and stakeholders within the community
  • attending community events to serve the low-income population of the counties listed above,
  • The role would require greeting clients in person and via phone in both a front desk capacity and in a face-to-face setting.
  • Experience working in a non-profit setting with limited income families, elderly, and veterans a plus.

Hours are Monday - Friday 8:30 - 5:00 but we work until 6:00 on Tuesdays and Thursdays during the winter season.
