Job Title: Junior Recruiter/Screener

Location: Irvine, CA (On-site Monday-Thursday, Remote on Fridays)

Employment Type: Temporary (6-month contract with potential to convert to permanent)

Hourly Rate: $38-$40/hour

Reports To: Manager of Talent Acquisition

About the Role:

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Junior Recruiter to join our team in Irvine, CA. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to grow their career in talent acquisition while contributing to a dynamic and collaborative recruiting environment. The role is initially a 6-month temporary assignment, with potential to transition into a permanent position.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate College/University Events: Support campus recruiting efforts by organizing and attending career fairs and university events.
  • Candidate Prescreening: Conduct initial phone screens for entry-level candidates and transition qualified candidates to senior recruiters.
  • Sourcing: Identify and engage talent for entry-level and hard-to-fill/niche roles using various sourcing strategies and platforms.
  • Team Support: Provide backup support to the recruiting coordinator as needed, ensuring smooth operations across the team.

Qualifications:

  • 3-5 years of experience in recruiting, sourcing, or HR coordination
  • Strong communication and organizational skills
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively
  • Familiarity with applicant tracking systems (ATS) and sourcing tools is a plus
  • Passion for talent acquisition and a proactive approach to problem-solving

Work Schedule:

  • Monday-Thursday: In-office at the Irvine location
  • Friday: Work from home
