Job Title: Deburr Operator - 2nd Shift
Job Type: Full-Time, Hourly
Pay: $21-$23 per hour (depending on experience)


Job Summary:

We are looking for a Deburr Operator (Level 1) for our 2nd shift team. The ideal candidate has strong attention to detail and mechanical aptitude. This role involves operating machinery, deburring parts, and ensuring consistent product quality in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Deburr and smooth sharp edges of parts using hand tools, files, deburring tools, etc., based on blueprint specifications and customer requirements.

  • Follow instructions from work orders, drawings, samples, or verbal directions.

  • Consistently monitor part quality to meet company standards.

  • Identify and flag parts for inspection as part of the quality control process.

  • Accurately update job travelers and input job-related data.

  • Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to safety protocols.


Physical Requirements:

  • Lift up to 25 lbs and push up to 50 lbs as needed.

  • Load and unload materials up to 25 lbs.

  • Stand for approximately 85% of the shift; walk about 10%; bend, squat, kneel, and twist as needed (approx. 5%).


Skills & Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or GED required.

  • Mechanical aptitude and strong basic math skills.

  • Ability to read measuring tools such as tape measures and calipers.

  • Detail-oriented with a strong focus on quality.

  • Willingness to work early/late hours, weekends, or overtime as needed.

  • Team player with strong communication and problem-solving skills.

  • Familiarity with manufacturing or production processes is a plus.
