Job Description

Ultimate Staffing is currently seeking a Quality Supervisor to join a client in Grapevine, TX. This is a full-time, direct hire position.

Job Duties:

  • Assist in maintaining and improving the company's Quality Management System (QMS) in accordance with ISO 9000 standards.
  • Support the Quality Manager and Supervisor in the implementation and enforcement of quality procedures.
  • Collaborate with Engineering and Operations teams to ensure smooth product transitions from development to production.
  • Work closely with Quality Inspectors to ensure compliance with quality requirements and specifications.
  • Analyze product failures and customer complaints; implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
  • Maintain and update quality documentation, including manuals, procedures, and work instructions.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives for QA processes, including receiving inspections.
  • Monitor and resolve supplier quality issues, and lead efforts for corrective and preventive actions.
  • Generate weekly, monthly, and quarterly QA reports to track performance metrics.
  • Lead and support quality improvement projects such as 5S, Kaizen, and Lean methodologies.
  • Develop and deliver training programs to enhance quality awareness across teams.
  • Conduct internal and supplier audits; manage audit findings and implement corrective measures.
  • Oversee daily activities related to incoming and outgoing quality assurance functions.
  • Monitor supplier performance and conduct periodic audits.
  • Identify opportunities for warehouse process improvements and implement cost-reduction strategies.
  • Analyze key metrics to resolve product flow and delivery challenges.
  • Promote a collaborative and feedback-driven environment focused on operational excellence.
  • Foster a safe, inclusive, and positive work environment aligned with company values.
  • Promote open communication and collaboration across departments and teams.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with internal teams, customers, and suppliers.
  • Ensure effective inventory management and product flow through the warehouse to maximize efficiency.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, or a related scientific field.
  • Familiarity with ISO 9000 standards and quality system requirements.
  • Internal auditing experience preferred but not required.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Strong understanding of computer systems, sub-assembly components, and related technical aspects.
  • Fluent in English (primary or secondary language).
