Job Description

  1. Strategic Revenue Management:

    • Develop and implement strategies to optimize the revenue cycle, enhance cash flow, and minimize revenue leakage.
    • Monitor industry trends, regulatory changes, and best practices to adapt revenue cycle strategies accordingly.
  2. Billing and Coding:

    • Ensure accurate and timely submission of claims to payers, government agencies, and other third-party entities.
    • Oversee coding processes to ensure compliance with coding guidelines and maximize reimbursement.
  3. Collections Management:

    • Implement effective collection strategies to reduce accounts receivable and increase cash collections.
    • Monitor and manage accounts receivable aging and take appropriate actions to resolve outstanding balances.
  4. Denial Management:

    • Analyze and address claim denials to minimize revenue loss, identify root causes, and implement corrective actions.
    • Collaborate with payers and internal teams to resolve denial issues and prevent future denials.
  5. Compliance and Regulations:

    • Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations, payer policies, and coding guidelines.
    • Stay updated on regulatory changes and implement necessary adjustments to maintain compliance.
  6. Vendor Management:

    • Manage relationships with third-party vendors and service providers, such as billing software vendors and revenue cycle consultants.
  7. Process Improvement:

    • Identify opportunities for process improvement and efficiency gains within the revenue cycle.
    • Implement best practices and automation to streamline revenue cycle operations.


  • Minimum of 2 years of progressive experience in revenue cycle management in a healthcare setting.
  • Strong knowledge of healthcare billing, coding, and reimbursement processes.
  • Proficiency in healthcare revenue cycle management software and tools.

Additional Information:

  • Monday- Friday , Flexible hours between 7:30a-5:30pm
  • $21-23/hour
  • Hybrid (Eagan)
  • Direct Hire
