Laborer / Stockroom Associate (Temp-to-Hire)

Schedule: Monday-Friday, 6:00 AM - 4:30 PM

Our client is a growing manufacturing company that is seeking a Laborer/Stockroom Associate for a temp-to-hire opportunity. This role supports production by managing inventory, organizing materials, and ensuring timely distribution of components. Ideal candidates are detail-oriented, organized, and comfortable in a fast-paced environment.

Stock Room Associates Responsibilities

  • Receive and inspect incoming materials, verifying accuracy and condition.
  • Organize and label inventory in designated stockroom areas.
  • Maintain accurate inventory records using ERP or inventory systems.
  • Pull and issue materials to production lines as needed.
  • Assist with packaging and preparation of finished goods for shipment.
  • Conduct cycle counts and support inventory audits.
  • Keep stockroom and work areas clean and safe.
  • Communicate with production and procurement teams regarding inventory needs.
  • Operate forklifts and pallet jacks safely (if certified).

Stock Room Associate Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Previous experience in a manufacturing stockroom or warehouse preferred.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Basic computer skills for inventory tracking.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical tasks.
  • Knowledge of safety protocols; forklift certification is a plus.
