Job Description

Established organization is seeking a Senior Contracts Analyst in the greater Pasadena, CA area on a Direct Hire basis. Pay rate ranges from $105-145k DOE.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage the full contract lifecycle-from drafting and negotiation to execution, monitoring, and closeout.
  • Ensure adherence to federal, state, and local procurement regulations, grant requirements, and internal policies.
  • Design and implement policies, procedures, and best practices for effective contract management.
  • Conduct risk assessments and recommend strategies to minimize contractual and financial exposure.
  • Review and interpret complex contract terms, conditions, and obligations, offering expert guidance.
  • Collaborate with legal counsel on high-risk contracts and dispute resolution.
  • Prepare detailed reports, presentations, and briefings for executives, boards, and regulatory bodies.
  • Maintain strong relationships with vendors, contractors, and funding agencies to ensure contract performance.
  • Oversee the development and administration of procurement documents such as RFPs, RFQs, and IFBs.
  • Create and deliver training programs focused on contract administration and procurement best practices.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in public administration, business, finance, law, or a related field; a master's degree is preferred and may substitute for one year of experience.
  • Minimum of seven years of professional experience in public sector contract and procurement management.
  • Proven experience managing complex contracts, including those involving grants and federal regulations.
  • Strong skills in analysis, negotiation, and project management.
  • At least two years of supervisory experience.
  • Equivalent combinations of education, training, and experience may be considered.
