Finance Operations Specialist

Job Description

Established organization is seeking an Operations Specialist that has experience working in a finance firm in the greater Pasadena, CA area. This role is on a direct hire basis and pay ranges from $65-85k annually DOE.

Responsibilities:

  • Ensure the accuracy and consistency of data across Orion and Salesforce platforms.
  • Review daily transactions in Orion, promptly identifying and correcting any discrepancies.
  • Manage real estate and private equity assets using the Orion Alternative Investments platform.
  • Assist team members with system navigation and data retrieval to support operational efficiency.
  • Perform manual transaction postings and reconcile holdings as needed.
  • Provide backup support for maintaining equity and fixed income securities data, including trade postings.
  • Serve as a secondary point of contact for front desk and reception responsibilities.

Qualifications:

  • Demonstrated experience in financial services, accounting, or a related field.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite; experience with Orion and Salesforce is strongly preferred.
  • Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a dynamic environment.
  • Strong attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.
  • Proven ability to work independently while also thriving in a collaborative team setting.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Bachelor's degree preferred.
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship or employment restrictions.
