Job Title: Electrical Estimator
Compensation: $85,000 - $110,000 annually, based on experience
Location: In-office position (80110 with travel required across a regional territory within Colorado
Work Schedule: Monday through Friday, 7:00 AM - 4:00 PM

An established and expanding electrical services contractor is seeking a skilled Electrical Estimator to support pre-construction and business development efforts. This is a client-facing role with a strong sales component, ideal for someone who thrives on building relationships, identifying opportunities, and closing deals in addition to producing accurate bids. The estimator will contribute to bid preparation, client interactions, and collaboration with internal and external stakeholders. Travel within the regional service area is required; a vehicle allowance and gas card are provided.
Interpret drawings, project specifications, and participate in bid walkthroughs or meetings to define project scope
Generate comprehensive takeoffs and cost estimates utilizing current and historical pricing data
Manage all estimating tasks for assigned projects, ensuring timeliness and accuracy
Maintain detailed project documentation, calculations, and cost assumptions
Coordinate with cross-functional teams, external contractors, and design professionals throughout the estimation process
Provide pricing, cost breakdowns, and feasibility analysis to support client decision-making
Assist with project execution phases as needed, including change order pricing and material procurement
Represent the company's core principles of quality service, accountability, and collaboration
Degree in engineering, construction management, or equivalent practical experience
3-7 years of experience in electrical estimation or a related construction estimating role
Proficiency with cost tracking and estimating methodologies
Strong command of Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
Excellent interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills
Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines
Base salary between $85,000 and $110,000, dependent on skills and experience
