Position Title: Talent Acquisition Specialist

From crafting compelling job postings to welcoming new hires on day one, you'll own the full recruitment lifecycle and make a real impact every step of the way.


What You'll Do:

  • Champion our hiring process by managing everything from job posting to onboarding.
  • Optimize and train staff on our Applicant Tracking System (ATS) to ensure a smooth and efficient recruitment experience.
  • Collaborate with hiring managers to create and update job descriptions that reflect current needs and compliance standards.
  • Strategically source candidates through job boards, professional networks, and community outreach.
  • Review applications, conduct interviews, and assess candidates for both technical and cultural fit.
  • Extend offers and manage pre-employment screenings, including background and drug checks.
  • Build strong partnerships with local colleges and represent the company at career fairs.
  • Lead onboarding for all new hires, including seasonal and temporary staff.
  • Conduct exit interviews and provide insights to improve retention.
  • Stay current on recruiting best practices and continuously improve our hiring strategies.

What You Bring:

  • Associate degree in Business, Human Resources, or a related field.
  • 2+ years of recruiting experience (3-5 years preferred), ideally in a manufacturing or unionized environment.
  • Hands-on experience with applicant tracking systems (we use Paycom) and platforms like Indeed.
  • Skilled in modern selection techniques, including virtual interviews and reference checks.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills-you're a people person who builds trust easily.
  • Ability to manage 15-25 open requisitions at a time with strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • High level of professionalism, integrity, and discretion.
