Job Description

Ultimate Staffing is hiring a Production & Warehouse Manager on behalf of our client, a high-growth consumer goods company based in West Haven, CT. This leadership role is responsible for managing internal and external manufacturing platforms, overseeing inventory and safety programs, and ensuring product quality and fulfillment standards are consistently met-or exceeded.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead day-to-day operations across production, warehouse, and shipping functions
  • Drive safety initiatives and ensure OSHA compliance across all facilities
  • Manage inventory accuracy using MRP in coordination with Purchasing & Inventory teams
  • Oversee shipping, receiving, QC, and raw material availability
  • Implement preventive maintenance and facility improvement plans
  • Hire, train, and manage team performance with structured reviews and coaching
  • Develop systems to reduce manufacturing and picking errors
  • Track and report on key KPIs (labor cost, error rate, TRIR, cost per unit, etc.)
  • Maintain clean, organized production and storage areas
  • Use AI and process improvement tools to streamline operations
  • Lead manufacturing projects from planning through completion

Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of experience in warehouse, production, or operations leadership
  • Strong knowledge of inventory systems, MRP/ERP
  • OSHA knowledge and experience managing safety programs
  • Skilled in team development, training, and performance management
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel
  • Comfortable adopting new systems and leveraging AI to improve workflows
  • Bachelor's degree preferred
