Overview
We're seeking an experienced Logistics & Fulfillment Supervisor to manage and coordinate the daily flow of materials and products into and out of our operational facility. This leadership role is pivotal in ensuring all deliveries and shipments are handled efficiently, accurately, and in accordance with company procedures. The right candidate will have a strong background in warehouse operations, supply chain coordination, and team management.
Responsibilities:
- Direct and supervise daily inbound and outbound logistics functions to meet service and timeline expectations.
- Work with internal teams to maintain appropriate inventory levels and ensure accurate material routing.
- Validate all incoming materials by cross-checking with documentation to ensure accuracy.
- Keep stock areas clean, organized, and optimized for space and accessibility.
- Identify areas for workflow enhancement and support implementation of operational improvements.
- Enforce compliance with all health and safety standards regarding material handling and shipping.
- Monitor and support the loading and unloading of goods to ensure proper documentation and handling.
- Train, guide, and support logistics team members in receiving, shipping, and inventory protocols.
- Maintain up-to-date records for all transfers, including tracking logs and inventory changes.
- Coordinate with transportation vendors and service providers to schedule shipments and address issues.
- Perform routine checks on logistics equipment and address maintenance concerns proactively.
Skills & Qualifications
- 1+ year of prior experience in logistics, distribution, or warehouse team leadership.
- Solid understanding of inventory control systems and warehouse best practices.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple responsibilities efficiently.
- Problem-solving mindset with a focus on continuous operational improvement.
- Clear communication skills for cross-team collaboration and vendor interaction.
- High attention to detail, especially when verifying documentation and shipment accuracy.
Location: Maplewood, MN 55109 (On-site, Full-Time)
Schedule: M-F ; 8-hour shift
Pay: $50k-$65k (DOE)
