Manufacturing Specialist I

Pay: $20/hour

Location: Minneapolis, MN

Schedule: Full-time, Monday-Friday

Potential for temp-to-hire after 4-6 months

Overview:

A growing production facility is seeking a hands-on Manufacturing Specialist I to join our team. This role supports the production and assembly of various products in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. We welcome candidates from a variety of backgrounds. The ideal candidate is dependable, detail-oriented, and comfortable with physical tasks.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assemble products following quality standards and written work instructions
  • Accurately report daily production numbers
  • Maintain inventory of materials and tools used in production
  • Keep work area clean and organized, including occasional sweeping and mopping
  • Identify and escalate product or process issues that affect quality
  • Collaborate with team members to support smooth production flow
  • Follow all applicable safety and compliance standards, including HIPAA
  • Assist with packing and shipping products and materials as needed
  • Meet daily/weekly productivity goals
  • Maintain a clean and efficient workspace following 5S principles
  • Follow company attendance and punctuality policies
  • Perform additional duties as assigned

Qualifications:

Education & Experience:

  • High school diploma or GED required
  • 0-2 years of experience in manufacturing, warehouse, assembly, or similar environments

Preferred:

  • Experience with medical device or tactile product assembly

Skills:

  • Able to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods (2-3 hours at a time)
  • Comfortable using a computer, including Microsoft Outlook
  • Experience navigating ERP or QMS systems is a plus
