We're looking for a Sales Representative to dominate territory sales in the competitive fuel and energy market. This role is all about boots on the ground, knocking on doors, building relationships, and delivering solutions that power commercial and industrial customers across the region. You'll need a degree, a thick skin, and a no-excuses mindset. We want someone who knows how to get in front of decision-makers, ask for the business, and do what it takes to win.
Key Responsibilities:
- Identify, pursue, and close new commercial accounts through proactive field sales, cold calls, and door-to-door visits
- Build and maintain strong relationships with customers in transportation, construction, agriculture, and manufacturing
- Present customized fuel delivery and energy service solutions based on client needs
- Own your territory: prospect, follow up, and manage accounts with a hunter mentality
- Work with dispatch and operations to ensure service delivery meets client expectations
- Maintain accurate records of contacts, pipeline, and activity using CRM software
- Meet or exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual sales goals
- Stay current on fuel industry trends, pricing, and competitor activity
- Represent the company at local industry events, trade shows, and customer visits
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field (required)
- 2-5 years of proven outside sales experience (door-to-door, field sales, or territory management preferred)
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills-comfortable knocking on doors and making cold calls
- High energy, self-motivated, and results-driven
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record
- Experience in the fuel, HVAC, construction, or service-based industries is a plus
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus
