Position Overview

Ultimate Staffing Services is actively seeking an experienced Controller to join their client's team. This role offers an exciting opportunity to manage and lead financial operations while ensuring compliance and providing strategic financial insights.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with GAAP.
  • Lead the month-end and year-end close processes, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
  • Oversee the Accounts Payable department, ensuring proper controls, timely payments, and vendor management.
  • Collaborate with external auditors and manage audit preparation and compliance.
  • Develop and implement accounting policies, procedures, and internal controls.
  • Provide financial analysis and insights to support strategic decision-making.
  • Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local financial regulations.
  • Mentor and support accounting staff, fostering a culture of continuous improvement.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA preferred).
  • 5+ years of progressive accounting experience, including public accounting.
  • Strong knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting standards.
  • Experience managing or overseeing Accounts Payable functions.
  • Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.

Monday to Friday, 1st Shift

Salary Range: $90,000 - $130,000 per year
