Ultimate Staffing Services is actively seeking a detail-oriented Staff Accountant to join their client's dynamic team in California. This role requires a motivated individual who can handle multiple financial responsibilities and collaborate effectively with different departments to ensure the financial health of the organization.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and analyze job cost reports to ensure accurate project tracking and profitability.
• Process and manage payroll in compliance with company policies and labor regulations.
• Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
• Perform revenue reconciliation and ensure accurate revenue recognition.
• Maintain general ledger accounts and perform regular account reconciliations.
• Support budgeting and forecasting processes.
• Collaborate with project managers and operations teams to ensure financial accuracy.
• Utilize advanced Excel skills to create financial models, reports, and dashboards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree preferred
• Strong Excel skills
• Construction or manufacturing industry experience preferred
