Position Overview

Ultimate Staffing Services is actively seeking a dedicated Collections Specialist to join their client's dynamic team in California. This role is crucial in managing customer accounts and ensuring the timely recovery of outstanding payments. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical skills and a keen eye for detail, contributing to the overall financial health of the organization.

Key Responsibilities

  • Initiate collection calls to customers to recover outstanding payments.
  • Resolve client billing issues and discrepancies promptly and professionally.
  • Identify and address factors contributing to account delinquencies.
  • Review and monitor assigned accounts and relevant collection reports to ensure timely action.
  • Follow up on payment arrangements and customer inquiries, maintaining consistent communication.
  • Recommend accounts for management review, including those for hold or escalation to collections.
  • Research and resolve customer deductions and disputes effectively.
  • Maintain comprehensive documentation of customer communications and payment activities.
  • Prepare detailed reports for management review, providing insights into collections performance.
  • Review and evaluate credit limits for new and existing customer accounts.
  • Perform additional tasks and responsibilities as assigned.

Required Work Hours

Monday to Friday, first shift.

Pay Range: $22 - $24 per hour
