Job Title: Quality Manager

Location: Minneapolis, MN area

Salary: Up to $80,000/year (based on experience)

Schedule: Monday through Thursday - No Fridays!

Overview:

A well-established manufacturer of electrical products is seeking an experienced Quality Manager to lead its quality assurance and compliance functions. This role is ideal for a hands-on leader with a solid background in ISO standards, OSHA compliance, and electrical manufacturing, particularly with electromechanical systems.

Responsibilities:

• Lead the development, implementation, and continuous improvement of the quality management system in accordance with ISO 9001:2015
• Ensure compliance with OSHA safety standards and oversee safety-related work practices
• Oversee quality audits, inspections, and corrective action processes
• Monitor quality performance metrics and drive initiatives to improve product quality and reduce defects
• Collaborate cross-functionally with engineering, production, and suppliers to resolve quality issues
• Supervise and mentor quality assurance staff
• Maintain documentation and records for regulatory compliance and customer requirements

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Quality Management, or related field
• At least 5 years of experience in a quality leadership role within a manufacturing environment
• Strong working knowledge of ISO 9001:2015 and OSHA regulations
• Experience with point-to-point electrical systems, wire harnesses, or electromechanical assemblies
• Familiarity with sheet metal, plastics, or medical device manufacturing is a plus
• Excellent leadership, problem-solving, and communication skills
• Proficiency with quality management software and Microsoft Office
