Job Description

Ultimate Staffing is hiring for a Bilingual (Spanish) Receptionist / Office Administrator in Baltimore, Maryland! This is a temp-to-hire position with a full time, in-office schedule. This is a great opportunity to work in a healthcare setting in an administrative capacity.

Key Responsibilities

  • Greet patients and check them in for their appointments, manage the intake process
  • Schedule appointments using the EMR system, conduct reminder calls ahead of appointments or follow up calls for missed appointments, work to reschedule where needed
  • Manage medication refill requests using the workflows in place
  • Work within the EMR to review and update referral documents, consent forms, intake forms, authorization updates
  • Assist the Medical Director with administrative duties and contribute to smooth office processes
  • Assist with translation when working with Spanish-speaking families and patients

Qualifications

  • Bilingual (Spanish) required
  • At least 2 years of recent administrative experience including front-desk responsibilities
  • Recent experience in the healthcare industry in an administrative or operational support role is preferred but not required, but must be willing to learn
  • Experience working within EMR (Electronic Medical Records) systems is preferred, or willingness to learn and be trained
  • Basic knowledge of healthcare insurance including claims, referrals, deductibles/co-pays
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Eagerness to learn and willingness to be trained on new tasks

Compensation and Schedule

  • This is a full-time, in-person, temp-to-hire position
  • Compensation is between $20-22/hr depending on experience
