Position Overview

Ultimate Staffing is actively seeking an experienced Legal Secretary to join their client's reputable law firm in the 78248 area of San Antonio, Texas. This role offers a unique opportunity to work in a bustling environment, supporting a team of dedicated professionals in the practice areas of Insurance Defense and Personal Injury. The position is strictly onsite, providing essential administrative and legal support.

Responsibilities

  • Support two legal assistants who work with a team of eight litigation attorneys.
  • Open and process newly-assigned lawsuits with efficiency and attention to detail.
  • Manage high-volume e-filing, scheduling, and calendaring.
  • Communicate with clients and legal professionals to coordinate depositions, mediations, and meetings.
  • Handle incoming mail and manage settlement drafts.
  • Assist with closing files by sending documents to clients and insurance carriers.
  • Perform general administrative tasks to support legal assistants as needed.

Qualifications

  • At least 1 year of litigation legal experience (required).
  • Proficiency in e-filing, scheduling, and managing deadlines.
  • Strong organizational and communication skills.
  • Must reside in San Antonio, Texas.
  • Paralegal certification is a plus but not required.

Required Work Hours

Monday to Friday, first shift.

Additional Details

The role offers a salary range of $50,000 to $58,000 annually, depending on experience. Candidates must possess a high school diploma to qualify for this position.
