Bookkeeper
Location: Austin Metroplex (On-site)
Job Type: Contract-to-Hire and Direct Hire Opportunities
Schedule: Monday to Friday, standard business hours
Pay Rate: $20 - $25 per hour (based on experience)

We are actively hiring Bookkeepers for multiple growing businesses throughout the Austin Metroplex. These on-site roles offer both contract-to-hire and direct hire opportunities, providing a path to long-term employment for candidates with strong accounting and organizational skills. The ideal candidates will be detail-oriented, dependable, and able to manage day-to-day financial tasks with accuracy.
Record and reconcile financial transactions in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Sage, Xero, or similar)
Manage accounts payable and receivable
Prepare and process invoices, payments, and payroll as needed
Reconcile bank and credit card statements
Assist with month-end and year-end financial reporting
Maintain general ledger and support journal entries
Ensure compliance with company policies and accounting regulations
Organize and maintain financial records and documentation
Communicate with vendors, clients, and internal teams as needed
2+ years of bookkeeping or general accounting experience
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software (QuickBooks strongly preferred)
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
Ability to manage time effectively and meet deadlines
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Associate's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred (but not required)
