Sales Coordinator

Job Description

A leading manufacturer of precision equipment and systems is seeking a detail-oriented and customer-focused Sales Coordinator to join their team in Monrovia. This role supports sales operations in a fast-paced contract manufacturing environment and involves extensive communication with internal teams, customers, and sales representatives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Process order quoting and entry for contract manufacturing.

  • Review customer order backlog and align with production availability and customer expectations.

  • Resolve issues related to credit holds, down payments, and purchase order discrepancies.

  • Manage high-volume customer communication via email, phone, and fax.

  • Monitor and follow up on open opportunities in Salesforce to ensure timely closure.

  • Ensure opportunities and commission splits are accurately reflected on sales orders.

  • Attend backlog meetings and system kick-off meetings as needed.

  • Provide support to Regional Sales Managers, independent reps, and dealers.

  • Adhere to all company order processing and approval protocols (e.g., discounts, returns, cancellations).

  • Maintain a 95% or higher order entry accuracy rate.

  • Process sales quotes on the same day they are requested.

  • Responsible for consumable sales, with specific goals assigned.

  • Collaborate with other departments when necessary.

Qualifications:

  • Experience in a manufacturing or sales coordination role preferred.

  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.

  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.

  • Proficiency in Salesforce and general office software is a plus.

  • Familiarity with technical products or equipment is helpful.

Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM
Duration: Temp-to-Hire
Pay Rate: $25-27hr
