Job Description

Ultimate Staffing is currently seeking an HR Generalist for a client in Salt Lake City. This is a full-time, direct hire role. The position will be based in downtown Salt Lake City, but can be a hybrid role of 3 days if office and 2 days remote per week.

The HR Generalist will be responsible for the following job duties.

  • Assist in recruitment efforts including job postings, screening, scheduling interviews, and onboarding.
  • Support new hire orientation and employee onboarding processes.
  • Administer employee benefits programs and assist employees with benefits-related questions.
  • Maintain employee records in compliance with company policies and legal regulations.
  • Handle employee inquiries regarding policies, procedures, and HR programs.
  • Assist with payroll preparation and timekeeping as needed.
  • Coordinate training and development initiatives.
  • Support performance review and employee evaluation processes.
  • Assist in developing and implementing HR policies and procedures.
  • Promote a positive workplace culture and support employee engagement initiatives.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources or related field.
  • 2+ years of experience in an HR Generalist or similar HR role.
  • Knowledge of employment laws and HR best practices.
  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite and HRIS systems.
  • Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.
  • HR certification (PHR, SHRM-CP) is a plus.
