Position Overview

Ultimate Staffing is actively seeking an experienced Electrical Estimator to join their client's team in Florida. The role is critical in managing estimates and ensuring project success through accurate cost evaluations and effective communication. This position offers a unique opportunity to work on a variety of projects, including technical, healthcare, and industrial sectors.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for multiple systems on technical, healthcare, or industrial projects.
• Lead fully engineered estimates up to $5M.
• Understand the concepts and process of conceptual estimates and budgets up to $1M.
• Review the scope specified within the proposal and ensure estimates include appropriate scope.
• Develop detailed cost estimates and proactively identify deficiencies and/or questions; actively assist the project team toward the answers.
• Review contract documents and contract modifications to determine scope of work and equitable cost allowance for scope changes.
• Proficient with estimating software.
• Working knowledge of McCormick and Bluebeam.
• Proven accuracy, reliability, and completeness in job accomplishment.
• Effective oral and written communication skills.
• Review estimate take-offs.
• Understanding and familiarity with NEC.
• Mentoring Estimator Trainees & Estimator 1 staff.

Qualifications

• Four-year Construction/Engineering degree or equivalent combination of technical training and/or related career experience.
• 2 or more years of experience working for a commercial electrical contractor.
• One plus years of recent electrical estimating experience with on-screen take-off experience preferred.
• Computer literate and able to quickly master and apply department's computer systems and software.

Required Work Hours

Monday to Friday, first shift.

Additional Details

Salary Range: $65,000 - $100,000 per year.
