Assembler
Location: San Diego, CA 92131
Hours: Monday - Friday 8am - 5pm, may have the ability to start earlier
Pay: $20/hr
Temp to hire, possibly Direct hire

Under general supervision, performs a wide variety of electronic and electro-mechanical subassembly and assembly operations of a semi-skilled nature to build and assemble simple units such as power supplies, modules, chassis drawers, cable harnesses, PC boards, electronic systems and subassemblies. Solders and de-solders through-hole and surface mount technology (SMT) components. Installs and/or removes discrete components such as transformers, resistors, transistors, capacitors, inductors, etc., on to printed circuit assemblies (PCA's), panels using both traditional soldering iron and or hot air techniques.

Qualifications & Requirements:
· Requires an AA degree or equivalent work experience or military technical training.
· Must possess strong problem-solving skills, digital and analog skills, and the ability to troubleshoot printed circuit board in a logical manner down to component level.
· Must have experience utilizing measuring instruments, oscilloscopes, function generators, digital multi-meters and hand tools, such as hand crimpers, screwdrivers, wrenches and pliers.
· Must be skilled in Surface Mount Technology soldering and rework.
· Must have experience in working from electronic schematics, mechanical assembly drawings.
· Must be able to professionally communicate both verbally and in writing.
