Salary - up to $120K DOE

Position Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Claims Supervisor to oversee the management of Commercial Auto and General Liability Claims within a regional branch. This role is instrumental in directing claims operations, supervising team performance, and ensuring compliance with company policies and industry standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage a team of claims professionals, ensuring the quality and timeliness of work deliverables.
  • Train, mentor, and evaluate team members, fostering professional growth and accountability.
  • Oversee claims investigations, including reviewing coverage, policy conditions, and legal implications.
  • Establish and adjust claim reserves to accurately reflect potential exposures.
  • Negotiate settlements with claimants, insured parties, and third parties, ensuring equitable resolutions.
  • Collaborate with independent adjusters and external vendors as needed for claim assessments.
  • Maintain current knowledge of regulatory requirements and jurisdictional guidelines.
  • Support departmental staffing and operational strategies in collaboration with leadership.
  • Promote organizational values and culture, acting as a representative of the company's mission.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • At least 5 years of experience handling multi-line commercial claims & litigation, with prior supervisory/ team lead experience preferred.
  • Strong understanding of coverage, investigative processes, and negotiation strategies.
  • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities efficiently.
  • Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, to liaise with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Proficiency in claims management systems and related software.
  • Valid driver's license and ability to travel as needed.
