Job Description

Our staffing agency is seeking a dedicated and experienced Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) to support a busy medical practice in Towson, MD. This temporary assignment offers a great opportunity to contribute to patient care while working in a dynamic environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Greet and assist patients with check-in/out processes.
• Obtain and document patient vital signs and medical histories.
• Assist providers with examinations, procedures, and treatments.
• Perform administrative tasks such as scheduling appointments and managing patient records.
• Ensure exam rooms are clean, stocked, and ready for use.
• Adhere to HIPAA and OSHA regulations.

Qualifications

• Active Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) credential required.
• Minimum of 3 year of recent experience in a medical office or clinical setting.
• Proficient in using electronic health record (EHR) systems, EPIC preferred.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to adapt quickly in a fast-paced environment.

Schedule

• Traditional doctor's office hours.
• Duration: Temporary (Exact dates TBD).

Compensation

• $18-$22/hour based on experience
• Weekly pay via staffing firm.
