Electrical Engineer 2904 Responsibilities:
- Design and develop product and packaging specifications.
- Manage all aspects of the company's product specifications.
- Ensure vendor-manufactured items meet specifications.
- Stay updated on regional, national, and international standards (UL, ETL, etc.).
- Coordinate with Marketing, Purchasing, Quality, and Manufacturing teams.
- Develop product usage instructions and documentation.
- Maintain engineering and quality documentation.
Supervision and Quality Control:
- Supervise Design Drafters and Engineering personnel.
- Ensure products meet specifications and safety standards.
- Troubleshoot technical problems and respond to support inquiries.
Electrical Engineer 2904Requirements:
Education and Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or Electrical Engineering, or related engineering field.
- Experience with consumer, OEM, and/or industrial wire and cable products.
- Familiarity with UL, CSA, and other approval agencies.
- Ability to read electrical schematics and diagrams.
- 5+ years with 2-D & 3-D CAD programs (SolidWorks is a plus).
- 3+ years in product and packaging design.
- 3+ years in a supervisory role.
- Technical Skills:
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).
- Understanding of planograms and retail space management.
